A Practical Guide to California AB 506
We teamed up with Ministry Pacific to offer answers about California’s AB 506 child protection law. Although many presentations have been made about the law, they often lack a component of practical application.
This webinar was designed to help churches and nonprofits understand the law and practically implement it. AB 506 is a California law requiring churches and nonprofits that serve youth (anyone under 18) to train staff and volunteers in identifying and reporting child neglect and abuse. The law also requires volunteers and employees to be undergo a background screening and to be fingerprinted through the state’s Live Scan system.
In this session, Gina Baker and Tiffany Henning, explain how churches and nonprofits can practically fulfill the mandates of the law.
